Hello world, meet Ivy Rose, isn't she a beauty? Ivy and her family came into the studio when Ivy was 2 week old. You can tell from the photos she was happy and alert during the photo session. We had to take a break a couple of times to nurse and then she was ready to get back to changing into her dress, and making her adorable expressions for the camera.
They say you want to bring your newborn in before day 10 to get those sweet, sleepy, malleable newborn poses...I say, bring them whenever YOU feel best about it. I am 100% a baby-led photographer, also keeping in mind the comfort of the mother, and then the family as a whole. I like to keep it light, natural, slow, and (as always) meaningful.
This session is as much about the memories as it is about the lovely images we will create.
